Pencil Coach is a notes app for iPad with a coach inside. By using it you agree to the plain rules below.

The beta

Pencil Coach is in beta. It is free, no payment is taken, it may change or break, and we may pause it. Keep a copy of anything important.

Your pages live on your iPad

There are no accounts and no sync. If you remove the app from your iPad, your pages can be lost, and we can't restore them.

Who can use it

You need to be 13 or older. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian first. The first beta groups are for testers 18 and older in the US, joining with an invite code.

Your work

Your notes are yours. When you tap Check or ask, you let us process the page picture and text you send so the coach can reply. The Privacy page says what that involves.

The coach can be wrong

The coach shows you what it read, and it can still misread your handwriting or give a bad hint. Check hints against your own work, your textbook and your teacher. You are responsible for following your school's rules about AI help. If a reply is bad or harmful, report it to dechantechang009@gmail.com.

Fair use

Don't attack or overload the service, scrape it, or use it to break the law or someone else's rights. We may limit or remove access if you do.

After the beta

Free will be 3 Checks a day. Pro will be $59.99 a year with a 7 day free trial, or $9.99 a month, and you can cancel in Settings in 2 taps. We will tell you before any payment is taken.

No warranty

The beta is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost pages, wrong hints or grades. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.
